# Imagen 4

# Imagen 4

Imagen 4 is Google's brand-new text-to-image model, launched at Google I/O 2025, and now live in Krea. It delivers sharper photorealism, crisper details (think individual water droplets and fabric weave), and dramatically better typography, finally nailing in-image text like posters or UI mock-ups.

Using it is simple: open an image session, choose **Imagen 4** from the model selector, enter your prompt, and (optionally) adjust aspect ratio or add reference images just like you would with Flux. Generation is fast—the upcoming "Imagen 4 Fast" variant runs up to 10× quicker than Imagen 3—so you can iterate in near real time.

1. Open an image generation session in Krea
